Present!

(Waving) Over here!

I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. But I have obviously neglected the blog for a little while.

I've dropped YouTube Tuesday as an every-week thing . . . it began to feel like real work, it was beginning to distort what I felt this blog should be about, and judging from the response it won't be missed anyway.

It's one of those phases of life when all creative energy seems to simply vanish, and that more than anything is the reason thata there's been so little posted here lately.

"Stuff Happens" is the operating principle of the universe. Stuff is happening. But along with that principle comes the related one, "It will pass."

There you have it.

Lenora,

Your readers have no doubt been patiently waiting for new posts, and yes, 'stuff' does happen.

Thank you, TFP, but there is a point at which, "patience" having been expressed as silence for so long, that one seriously questions the value of what is being "shared" when no one (almost) will acknowledge having been shared with.

That said, you can't keep a good Woman down. Or Me, for that matter. :)

Lenora,

Thank you for answering the comment. Questions are brought to the fore within this ones thoughts......

Is the "value" one seeks to be measured in quantity, quality, appreciation, acknowledgment, or deep expressions....... The list could go on and on, yes?

If one is 'touched' is it worth the effort?

The short answer is "yes." The longer answer is "it depends."

If I simply wished to be alone with My thoughts, an offline journal would suffice. So, for reasons that might be noble or quite base, My "offline journal" is online.

And online, when a tree falls and no one acknowledges hearing it, it really doesn't make a sound. And not hearing the sound makes it harder to summon the energy necessary to keep felling trees, the depth or shallowness of My reasons for wanting to hear how and where they land notwithstanding.

Lenora,

Many explore the depths of the forest and come upon a favored spot of interest, a place of depth and understanding.
Perhaps a felled tree on which to sit and contemplate. A glade carpeted with the variety of beautiful flowers to admire.
A refreshing clear mere to quench some unknown voracious thirst. Even when the pool gets low by season or drought, the loyal will always return searching for more....

Thank you,
-TFP
